I would have loved to go with you, but I did not pick up your message about Saturday until the morning when it was to late to make arrangements.

Perhaps in the future you can make the plans more in advance of the trip. I am sure that most of us would like to go.

The pictures were awesome, with the water low I am sure that there were many alligators around.

I have to disagree with you Bill, IMO most people on this board and Not Crap could care less about nature.

Saturday would have been a good day for kids, the rangers had tables set up for Jr. Ranger day. The tram behind us was for the Jr. Rangers, and they setup walking tours and various exhibits through out the day.

Lunch sucked at the Indian's restaurant, next time were going to try something closer to Krome Avenue or pack a picnic basket.

I love nature.... but Saturday s and Sundays I do about 50 mile each day on my bike. Then all I want to do is kick back.

Sometimes we get to see plenty of nature along the way.... last Friday coming down 84 west we saw about 20 of what someone said were Water Moccosines, unfortunetly, they were all run over by cars. But we did get to see at least 10 alligators swimming in the canal along 84.
