Donna and I got our flu shots today at Costco. The line was long 200-300 people. Took us about 1 hour (about 50-75 people in front of us) from the time they started giving the shots.

They usually do it at the local Publix stores here in Weston too. Anyone know the schedule?

I'm glad you mentioned this. The baby is going to get a flu shot next week and Bobby asked me if people in Miami get them. To be honest, the first I ever even heard of people getting flu shots was after I moved to NYC. I know that it has become the thing to do in the last few years and understandably so.
I guess we'll get ours up here before we move.

The thing about FL is that everyone visits here in the winter bringing their germs with them.

More than 20 years ago, the CPA firm I worked for had nurses come into the office to give flu shots. They weren't optional. I thought it was a great idea back then. Ten years ago I got the flu during tax season and wished someone would have put me out of my misery. Every year since then I have gotten a flu shot.

I've never had one either. I think I had the flu once many years ago.

I've had the shot a couple of times, Bobby's gotten it and the baby has had it for the past two years (since he was born) and we've never had any reaction.
A lot of companies still get people to come into the office to give flu shots.

We're packing our germs up, along with everything else, and moving it all down to Weston. heh heh
