I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight. Or any night for the next 45 years or so.
Somewhere I read a story that many of the landfills are loaded with the big boas. I guess they are fairly resilient because they find them with crushed spines from the bulldozers pushing trash, but that doesn't kill them. They feed on all the birds you see circling the landfills.
On a sad note, my friend Big Iggy was dead on the side SR84 today. I guess he got hit by a car and only crawled to the shoulder. Big Iggy was a 4 ft green iguana that lived by the canal between Weston Rd and Indian Trace. I would see him sunning almost every day. Rest in peace Big Iggy:(
