View Full Version : Rosa Parks funeral processional
I watched the funeral processional of Rosa Parks as they took her body to the cemetery. The hearse and all the limos that followed were white. There was not a black one to be seen. Was this some kind of joke or is that the usual procedure when someone is honored?

Maybe she wanted it that way; what's the big deal?

I think it all depends on what the funeral home has available. They may have white, they may have black, or any other color they choose. Not sure there is an "official" hearse color.
I don't understand the question, and I think it's inappropriate on this day of Mrs. Park's burial. Or any day, for that matter.
Just my opinion.

The black limos were asked to go the back of the procession to make room for the white ones. A bit of symbolic irony.
