The 'Fins have had new quarterbacks before. We just need one good one.

Sorry for the lack of enthusiasm, but like many others, I've lived in South Florida since before the Dolphins even existed. They had their glory days, but the team has been sorry for so long, it's hard to get excited anymore. Every year it's the same story... "we've got some great new talent... we're looking forward to a great year..." blah blah blah

Same with the Panthers until recently. They went through a bad spell the last few years. Marlins stunk for a while, but finally won some championships. Heat went through a drought, but are now playing some good ball.

We shall see...

I'm a former Bostonian... I am used to getting my hopes up for my sports teams and them having them trampled on. Doh

I lived thru the Celtics glory years with Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Danny Ainge, Robert Parish, Dennis Johnson. The last great year was '86 with Bill Walton backing up Parish.

Through the signing of Lenny Bias (1986) 2nd pick (should have gone first but Red Auerbach syced out the team choosing first) who was said to be the next Larry Bird. Then celebrating by OD'ing on cocaine that night and killing himself before ever playing.
