Sam, crowned the "World's Ugliest Dog" for three years in a row at the Sonoma-Marin Fair, is shown in Santa Barbara, Calif., on June 28, 2005. The pooch with the hairless body, crooked teeth and sparse tuft of hair atop his knobby head died Friday, Nov. 18, just short of his 15th birthday, according to his owner, Susie Lockheed.

Yes, the dogs! Chinese Crested are just plain ugly in my opinion. (Hairless humans would not necessarily be ugly, I would have to evaluate each on an individual basis!!):D

Kristin Maszkiewicz adores her Chinese-crested, Japanese Chin mix that she paid $1,000 for at a pet shop. "His face is crooked. His tongue hangs out. He has no teeth on (one) side. He's actually a sweetheart," Maszkiewicz said. Pee Wee, as he is called, was adorable enough to pay a visit to Kelly Ripa on the Live With Regis And Kelly TV show and to be featured on a Web site where he is a contestant for the "World's Ugliest Dog."

well love is blind.................but i must admit i am a bit snobish and prolly wouldnt buy that dog,but i am very happy that he found a loving family

I definitely wouldn't have paid for that dog, much less $1,000. I'm glad he found a loving home though too.
