New neighbors

We have new neighbors next door to us. They moved in Friday. I was sorry to see the old neighbor go. She was nice and very quiet. I think she was ready to just take her money and run. She had lots of problems with the association. Probably all were valid, I overlooked how she kept the place as I liked the quiet. Her biggest complaint was the neighbor on the other side of her. The other neighbors say he never liked her because she is black. (Jamaican). So, here's the funny part. The new neighbors are black too. (also Jamaican). I met the lady last night late and she seems nice. I heard she has a husband and two children. I haven't seen them yet. I would love to see the look on her next door neighbors face when he finds out he lost one black lady and got four people in return. :D

Yes, the boarding house is closed. I met the man tonight when I was outside. Apparently they have three kids all grown up. He's a obstetrician (sp?) at Memorial Hospital. He seems very nice, so I'm hoping they will be as great to have next door as my previous neighbor. Apparently the neighbor who didn't like the previous black neighbor so far likes these people. I saw another neighbor today who told me that this guy was all happy to have a neighbor who is an MD. Perhaps being an MD outweighs him being black in this guy's mind. :rolleyes:

It was real. Lately she has only had one tenant, a nice man from Venezeula. In the past she had as many as three at one time. One white lady who was in Physician Assistant school. She lived here the whole two years of the program. Another guy was Japanese and was in med school.
